Tefen conducted a QC diagnostic and network analysis across four global sites for an international industrial enzyme manufacturer. Tefen Business Consulting Firm were asked to align the practices within the labs across the four sites and improve them where possible.
Across the network there was significant deviation in performance of the QC labs, including lead times and productivity. The client wanted to increase the efficiency of all the labs to accommodate the increase in testing volume and complexity forecasted for 2014-15 with flat manning, and to also investigate opportunities to offshore work to China.
